Backstory

Born as the (currently) youngest of a long-lived and well-traveled, but not Hingan-native kitsune, Ichika had grown up in her original home village in a remote part of the Hingan Island of Koshu for a good part of her life, taking part in the training that some have as part of their clergy. While a series of incidents caused the completion of training to be delayed a number of years, it did result in the woman being as well-traveled as her mother, having spent additional time outside of her home for the sake of more training and knowledge. Some mentors in the medical arts and self-training in her clan's style of swordplay - a mix of ritual dances using mostly single-handed sword strokes would eventually, through years of effort, see herself in recommendation for brief yet rigorous study out of the Studium for official licensing as a doctor.Back at home however, things have not been all too swell; being a village belonging to a clan that holds kitsune dearly to their local culture and is treated like a resting grounds for friendly yokai eventually led to some people outside the village to spread word that the clan was harboring demons. A campaign sent to rout the Tsukigamine clan itself, leading no other choice but to seek refuge elsewhere. Taking up as much as they could, she helped the others follow the elder kitsune of the village across the Ruby Sea and down towards their old nesting grounds in Nagxia, where Ichika and her people have called home since.

RP Hooks

- As the Guildmaster of the Crimson Ravens Hunting Guild, she is essentially the face of the company. And despite how busy she can seem to be, she is rather pleased to have people come to her to talk about business affairs with the Guild.
- Ichika has the most experience within the medical field, with her being a certified doctor through Sharlayan channels. If you have heard of Ichika from anywhere, it is likely through her medical prowess as a healer and a doctor.
- Movement and fire go hand-in-hand with much of her life, whether it be performances, dancing, healing, and more.
- Ichika has been shown around plenty at a number of social spaces. Most commonly, she can be seen at performance venues, sponsor businesses of the Etheiryan Blitzball League, and some varying bars.
- Like plenty of kitsune, give her sake and fried tofu, and she'll be one to talk with you.
- Currently, Ichika's looking to get stronger, so she has been recently seen trying to bulk up a bit while also seemingly doing more to control her foxfire even further.

Equipment

Swords:
> Enkindler (in-game model: Vanguard Samurai Blade) - A magitek weapon with an Alexandrian aesthetic, the scabbard is loaded with ceruleum fuel cells that can become active when the sword gets charged with fire aether. Unsheathing the blade creates a notable flaming burst. Strong, but normally results in self-inflicted burns.
> Kurozuki (黒月, in-game model: Lakeland Blade) - A Hingan blade made from nightsteel with additional decor from a sakaki tree and attached suzu bells. A more ornate version of the swords used by the Tsukigamine Clan.
> Bokuto (in-game model: Bokuto): Simple training sword, tended to be used for training and spars to which there aren't many safety measures in place.Bows:
> Quickloader (in-game model: Ronkan Composite Bow) - Given by a far-off ally, this composite bow is capable of keeping multiple bows loaded in ahead of time for quick-firing. Still requires reloading every now and then, of course.
> Gifted Bow (in-game model: Rakshasa Greatbow) - A Doman yew bow gifted from a lover as a Starlight gift. Commonly carried around by Ichika for hunts requiring range and stealth.Staves and Canes:
> Ritual Staff (in-game model: Masakaki Kai): A staff made from materials from a sakaki tree and attached suzu bells, commonly used for ritualistic purposes
> Caged Tail (in-game model: Ignis Malus) - A staff with a flame core at the end, it's capable of holding some of Ichika's foxfire for additional storage before being let out at the user's whim.Other:
> Mangetsu and Shingetsu (in-game model: Twin Moons) - A set of chakrams with triggers within the handles to extend out single-edged blades for close-ranged combat
> Cinder Talons (in-game model: Dragon's Beard Fists) - Clawed gauntlets with a dragon motif made from the bones of a seemingly invasive scalekin species (See: Monster Hunter's Tigrex as inspiration).
